It’s busy in the Napa Valley these days, as the rains of winter have stopped, and we are able to work in the vineyards.

Another harvest is behind us – this one the 50th for Barbara and me – and it looks to be a fine year.

My middle daughter Ali has accompanied me on a number of sales trips over the years. She’s a great traveling companion, largely because of her love for food and adventure.
