2007 Syrah Hudson Vineyard
There's an old saying that the best things to put in a vineyard are the owner's footprints. Lee Hudson's footprints are all over his vineyards. People in this business will tell you that if he grows the grapes you can expect them to be of impeccable quality. In a recent review of this wine, Robert Parker wrote: "Aromas of saddle leather, blackberries, tar and pepper jump from the glass of this outstanding Syrah. It's a big, juicy, French-inspired, Northern-Rhöne-styled Syrah to drink over the next 7-8 years." I can't improve upon that.
